Naughty Nurse

I agree that the costumes are misogynistic but not sure how I feel about the bigger controversy. I mean if we start fighting these battles are we gonna spend all our time picketing Playboy and Halloween costume outlets too?

Maybe I'm wrong....Any thoughts?

It may be mysogynistic to a point, but on the other hand I have always been of the mind set, "If you've got it, flaunt it" in general. If I had a body that would allow me to pose for Playboy, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I'm kind of off-topic, but my mind wanders here and there, you know ths by now. I think this is hardly something that really needs to be addressed, there are much bigger issues that need to be dealt with first.

Yeah. I guess I agree, bigger battles and all.

But why did the male employees get to wear normal "doctor" outfits and women have to prance around with their asses hanging out? Why couldn't the women just wear some scrubs??

And it bugs because nurse does not always = woman and doctor does not always = man!

That's true. I am reminded of Cady's quote from Mean Girls when she says, "Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it." Maybe because of this mindset? Who knows.

I am, however, reminded of a memorable Halloween experience a couple years ago when I saw a guy dressed as a slutty nurse. It made me giggle, but he had a hairy chest. Ew.
